Letter from a Phalangist friend to Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano

Montsaugeon, November 21, 2018
Feast of the Presentation of the Most Holy Virgin Mary
To His Excellency Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano
Titular Archbishop of Ulpiana, Apostolic Nuncio.

Your Excellency,

I read your reply of last October 19 to Cardinal Ouellet, as published on “ Marco Tosatti’s blog ” and I congratulate you on your courage, assuring you that Catholics in France follow your endeavours with interest. Your offer to willingly accept “ every advice, recommendation, and invitation to progress in your life of faith and love for Christ, the Church and the Pope ” encourages me to write to you.

A father of seven children, I had the grace of being raised in the Catholic faith and love of the Church. I lived six years with my family in Rome, from May 1978 to September 1984. This stay in Rome therefore took place under the pontificates of Popes Paul VI, John Paul I of venerable memory, and finally John Paul II and it increased my soul’s admiration and attachment to the See of Peter from which one cannot detach oneself without endangering one’s eternal salvation.

I, however, was outraged by the prospect of the canonisation of Paul VI, without his doctrine being examined. Last month, therefore, I sent Cardinal Sandri and Cardinal Mamberti a copy of the canonical complaint for heresy, schism and scandal written by Father Georges de Nantes and brought by him to Rome on April 10, 1973 on behalf of the Catholic Counter-Reformation movement. I, myself, presented a copy of it to the Supreme Pontiff in person the following day at the general audience on April 11, 1973.

For this moral profligacy that is defiling the Church today is only the symptom, “ the tip of the iceberg, ” of much more serious doctrinal depravations. Since these are accepted by many, they are less noticeable. You are right to speak of “ longstanding confusion and division, inevitable when the successor of Peter is negligent in exercising his principal mission, which is to confirm the brothers in the faith and in sound moral doctrine. ” I am convinced of this because I was with Father Georges of Nantes in Rome 45 years ago when he instituted canonical proceedings against Paul VI, accusing him of a personal heresy of unprecedented consequences  : the Movement for the Spiritual Animation of Universal Democracy (MASDU). These proceedings were referred to the Pope’s own Tribunal, since no one else can judge the Pope. This heretical doctrine can be summarised as follows  : “ Mankind takes the place of the Church, the Charter of the Rights of Man takes the place of the Gospel, the building of World Democracy replaces the Kingdom of God, with the corollary  : Religion becomes the Spiritual Animator of the Ideal City. ” Although he imparted traditional teachings, Pope Paul VI fought the very idea of Christendom in order to merge the Church into a great movement of spiritual animation for a universal democracy that respects the freedom and dignity of man, the horizon of which is no longer Heaven but the earth. This was at a time when the Pope was preaching the freedom, the dignity and even the cult of man throughout the world, including in the conciliar aula  ! Inevitably and immediately discipline within the hierarchy became seriously lax.

In his Book of Accusation, Father de Nantes, and we who follow in his footsteps, considered only Paul VI’s personal doctrine, refraining from mentioning the grievous moral misdeeds of his private life. It, however, is a matter of public notoriety, and you cannot be unaware of the fact, Excellency, since, in 1963, the Reverend Father de Saint-Avit in person, who was Grand Penitentiary at that time, informed Father de Nantes that John Baptist Montini had been put on file by the Morality Police of Milan  !

Today it is our desire that Pope Francis might take into consideration this canonical complaint that Father de Nantes brought against Paul VI in 1973. Two other times, he had occasion to lodge complaints  : in 1983 against John Paul II to denounce his gnosis, and in 1993 against the author of the so-called Catechism of the Catholic Church to denounce the 11 heresies that it contains. Cardinal Ratzinger, the future Benedict XVI, was its main instigator.

In the face of these canonical accusations on which no judgement has ever been passed, it is incumbent upon the Holy Father today, exercising his pontifical infallibility, to declare where truth or error lies. Only then will he be able to confirm his brothers in the faith and to face up to the formidable commitments of his office.

Like you, we were not surprised “ that in calling attention to these plagues ” we were charged “ with disloyalty to the Holy Father and with fomenting an open and scandalous rebellion. ” Yet, as you quite pertinently write, “ rebellion would entail urging others to topple the papacy. ” No more than you, did we ever demand anything of the sort, and we too pray every day for Pope Francis – more than we have ever done for the other popes. The present Superior of the Catholic Counter-Reformation, Brother Bruno de Jesus-Marie, who succeeded Father Georges de Nantes, addressed four petitions to the Holy Father last year, asking him simply to obey Our Lady of Fatima’s urgent requests to save the souls of poor sinners from Hell.

It must be understood, Excellency, that the real cause of clerical sodomy is in particular the spiritual adultery commonly practiced by the Catholic hierarchy with all religions and irreligions. For example, when John Paul II kissed a copy of the Koran presented to him during one of his pontifical journeys, he quite simply denied Our Lord Jesus Christ. All Muslims throughout the world who witnessed this farce, were confirmed by the Vicar of Christ himself in their conviction that their religion is true, worthy of respect and is a source of salvation  ! The same is true of Protestants when we somehow rehabilitate Luther while ignoring the way he lived and put an end to his days  ! It is an offence to God Our Lord  !

Have you noticed, Excellency, that Pope Francis adheres to John Paul II’s gnosis according to which everyone is saved because “ Jesus, through His Incarnation, has in some way united Himself to every man ”  ? On May 12, 2017, in Fatima, at the very place where, a century earlier on July 13, 1917, Our Lady did not hesitate to show Hell to Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta – Hell, that terrible ocean of fire in which they saw the demons and souls of the damned uttering appalling moans – Pope Francis, took a stance that opposes that of his Sovereign Mistress by declaring  : “ Great injustice is done to God’s grace whenever we say that sins are punished by His judgement, without first saying – as the Gospel clearly does – that they are forgiven by His mercy  ! Mercy has to be put before judgement and, in any case, God’s judgment will always be rendered in the light of His mercy. Obviously, God’s mercy does not deny justice, for Jesus took upon Himself the consequences of our sin, together with its due punishment. He did not deny sin, but redeemed it on the Cross. Hence, in the faith that unites us to the Cross of Christ, we are freed of our sins  ; we put aside all fear and dread, as unbefitting those who are loved. (cf. 1 Jn 4  :18.) ”

It is all too clear that the Holy Father does not believe in Hell or rather he denies that there is anyone in it to the point of wanting to rehabilitate Judas, to the point of condemning the death penalty, which runs counter to the constant teaching of all the popes, and thus deprives the greatest criminals of a final and salutary warning to have to convert and regret their faults before appearing before the Just Judge Who can condemn them to eternal suffering.

Excellency, you know that Hell exists and that we can fall into it. It is the fear of Hell for you, for the Holy Father, for all those responsible for guiding souls to Heaven, and finally for all the faithful, that urged you to bear witness or, better still, to publicly denounce the evil that seems to be practiced with the full knowledge of everyone within the hierarchy and at all levels  ! “ My continued silence would put many souls at risk, and would certainly damn my own, ” because, you add, “ it is not a matter of politics. It is not a matter of how Church historians may evaluate this or that papacy. This is about souls. Many souls have been and are even now imperilled of their eternal salvation. ”

Yes, you are quite right to profess this truth of our faith, in the midst of a generation that denies it. Our Lady of Fatima reminded the three little Shepherds of it on October 13, 1917when She said  : “ Do not offend the Lord Our God any more, for He is already too greatly offended  ! ” That was a hundred years ago  ! Let us at least strive to obey Her  : let us recite our Rosary every day, practice the reparatory devotion on the first Saturday of the month to console the most gentle Immaculate Heart of Mary and let us ask the Holy Father to deign to consecrate Russia to Her at last.

United in prayer in the Immaculate Heart of Our Heavenly Mother  !
