On the feast of the Annunciation, Friday, March 25, 2022, the whole world saw and heard Pope Francis beseeching Our Lady of Fatima in a moving tone: “We now turn to You and knock at the door of Your Heart. We are Your beloved children. In every age You make Yourself known to us, calling us to conversion.” The remedies exercised by our Father in 1997 constituted the providential and canonical way offered to him by the Church to refer to the Roman Authority the doctrinal examination of all his criticisms. Thus he left us a teaching free from condemnation, drawn from the treasures of the Church and entirely devoted to her service and disposal.
