I. The Facts of Medjugorje

Bishop Pavao Zanic of Mostar had a reputation of being an intelligent, supernatural and moderate man who had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin. It was incumbent on him to make an investigation and to judge the veracity of the apparitions that began taking place in Medjugorje in 1981. He was first benevolent and reflected that if the case of the Herzegovinian Franciscans had not been resolved by men, maybe God had been pleased to send the Blessed Virgin there to urge the rebels to return to obedience and love for the Church. The title, which could not be more explicit, is the conclusion of a scientific demonstration and a meticulous investigation. Like the works of Father de Nantes, this book will remain a testimony to the truth until the day when the truth is restored to the Catholic Church.
