Daily Prayers
On Trinity Sunday, 1895, Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus, received a grace inspiring her to compose this Act of Oblation to Merciful Love as a victim of holocaust. It is the crown of the “Little Way of Spiritual Childhood” that Saint Thérèse had been inspired to live and teach to all little souls. Our Father, George de Nantes told us that during his confinement in Hauterive, he savoured Morning Prayer: “I said it every morning, before setting down to work. It is a prayer that I find full of mercy, replete with the sense of God, wonderfully meaningful.” The Angelus, a prayer with roots back to the 13th century, is a Marian devotion that is traditionally recited three times a day. “What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High,” the Angel said to Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta. Both he and Our Lady taught prayers to the three seers, and through them to us, so that we too may pray very much!Act of oblation to Merciful Love
