14. The forecast of the storm
I have been threatened with it for a long time, I saw the storm that would uproot me approaching, and now it is no longer more than a matter of days. On September 15, I will have to leave my parishes, Villemaur, its church, my presbytery and above all this group of true Christians to whom five years of paternal, even maternal, devotion have so strongly attached me.

The gnosis of Karol Wojtyla
Of all the gnoses this is the most powerful because it incorporates into its hazy vision all the dogmas and rites of our Church and at the same time inserts them into a general concept of a universe evolving towards general and perfect harmony.

The Immaculate Conception and the Divine Sophia
Fathers of the Church, theologians and poets have vied with one another to acclaim in Mary the perfect ideal of the Wisdom of God. The 19th century Russian philosopher, Soloviev, contemplates the Wisdom of God at work in history, creating a mysterious harmony that he calls Sophia, Virgin, Spouse and Mother, the Immaculate Conception.

When Arabia was “ happy ”
The contributions of the archaeological research of the last decade have completely renewed our knowledge of Christian Arabia, from Hadramaout to the Taurus, from the gulf of Oman to Lebanon and the Sinai. Let us summarise this knowledge before comparing it with that of our scientific exegesis of the Koran.

“Caveamus!”
As obedient sons of the Roman Catholic Church, we must respond in a straightforward manner to the questionnaire sent to us by our bishops, “to all of us, the baptised, members of the People of God,” without concealing our discomfort born of the certainty that the conclusion of this investigation is already written.

The Service of the Church (1)
Although impressed by Leo XIV’s full life spent in the service of the Church, we are invincibly gripped by anguish: born in 1955, he is necessarily a victim of the break with Tradition that Father de Nantes so dreaded, the break that the Second Vatican Council provoked within the Church herself.

Our religious duties towards the sick
“Our death and that of our loved ones must not be an accident: the death of a Christian cannot be improvised. We must know in advance what we have to do in these grave hours, and we will only totally fulfil our duty if we are prepared for it.”

18. Neither Schism nor Heresy
Even though I cannot see it, I believe with the certainty of faith that the Church’s salvation resides today as yesterday in her Pastors. Even though temporarily sunk in error and in the sectarianism of their “Reformation,” grace nevertheless still subsists in them indefectibly, if not apparently, and is ready to spring to life, on the day appointed by God, for the salvation of all. The trouble may be very great and the danger to souls mortal but God does not wish to govern us except through the Hierarchy.

Papal heresy
The simplest, the easiest, reply is the one which comes instinctively to most good Catholics: No, never! Under no circumstances can it be lawful to oppose the Pope – or, for that matter, the Council – for they represent the Infallible Magisterium of the Church, and if you oppose them you must necessarily be wrong.

To our Holy Father, Pope Francis, the Father of the Poor
We find ourselves in the situation of the “poor of Yahweh” who, in the last times of the Old Covenant, gave forth their heartrending complaint by the Psalms, in order to appeal for the coming of the Messiah. At the end of our Community retreat, we became fond of them. We want to imitate them because we understand that they prepared the Gospel.
