2.9. “Russia Will Spread her Errors, Causing Wars and Persecutions...”
In the years 1929-1931, everything depended on the Pope. If Russia had been consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, neither the Second World War nor the explosive expansion of communism would have taken place. But since it did not happen, the chastisements began to take place, and misfortunes befell Christendom.

The life and works of Vladimir Soloviev are a perfect illustration of this truth of Fatima. He whom our Father regards as « the greatest Russian genius of the 19th century », was in his own way a prophet of the “ conversion ” of his beloved Country, announcing the necessity of her returning to the bosom of the Roman Church.
3.1. “Now Is the Hour of God’s Justice over the World!”
The year 1939 saw the approval of the reparatory devotion. In 1940, Sister Lucy wrote her letter to Pope Pius XII and in 1941, her two most important Memoirs. She had perfectly fulfilled her mission. Now it was the hierarchy’s turn to act. Would the Secret be disclosed? Would Russia be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart? Everything depended on the Holy Father.
1.3 Francisco: “God Is so Sad. If Only I Could Console Him!”
Since May 13, 1917 and the first “vision of God,” which Our Lady had granted to Her privileged ones, Francisco, who had a contemplative soul, was continually animated by one thought: The Blessed Virgin and God Himself are infinitely sad; we must console Them. The consoler of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary died as a saint on April 4, 1919.
1. The new “ Ordo Missæ ”: A battle on two fronts

2. 1960: the parting of the ways
In this chapter we see the Third Secret unfolding: the bloody persecution of Catholics in the Communist world. Their heroic fidelity led Cardinal Frings to say: “We must never forget that the last half-century alone has produced more martyrs than the three centuries of Roman persecution.” Yet, the Church hierarchy stubbornly refused to obey Heaven’s requests. Our Lord’s words to Sister Lucy: “It will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary” strengthen our hope of the Immaculate Heart of Mary’s triumph.
1999: the Holy year of the Sacred Heart
1999 marked the centenary of the consecration of the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Pope Leo XIII. Our Father wanted us to follow Blessed Maria Droste zu Vischering, the confidante and messenger of the Divine Heart, so that she might initiate us to the splendours of the Love of Jesus and help us to be the devoted servants of His Reign.
14. The Solution of the Historical Critique
Neither the Modernist nor the rationalist solution is acceptable. Only one solution remains: that of the most serious historical criticism, concluding in favour of the perfect credibility of the witnesses, and thus the supernatural origin of the events of Fatima. Here there are innumerable arguments that can be developed at will.
